HiPerSC

Group of High Performance Scientific Computing

This research group consists of eight members, of which two belong to the Institute of Multidisciplinary Mathematics, and the rest are researchers from the Institute of Instrumentation for Molecular Image, of the Institute of Telecomunications and Multimedia Applications, and of the Department of Computer Systems and Computation, all from the UPV.

The group is decidedly multidisciplinary and focuses on applied mathematics  and its various fields of utilization, employing state-of-the-art  high-performance computing for attacking a great variety of scientific applications.

In particular, these fields cover the development of efficient methods for scientific computation in the area of differential equations, the development of optimal algorithms for the evaluation of matrix functions and their applications, and simulations in numerical relativity and metamaterials.

Detailed information about the ongoing work, articles, developed software  can be found on the web page of the group (https://hipersc.blogs.upv.es).
